Dear Hiring Manager, I have almost 9 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary projects and with the knowledge gained I believe I can successfully fulfill a Process Managing, Senior Process Engineer, Process Specialist, or similar roles within process design, Additive Manufacturing and other fields. I am currently a Lead Technical who is responsible for acquiring and developing new technologies as well as working on projects to beneficiate PGM’s. The 3 biggest projects that I’m currently working on are applying new technologies including ion exchange for PGM refining, developing and testing powders for Additive manufacturing (3D printing) as well as finding processing methods to process feeds from various customers. My interest is to stay in a project working environment because the variety in the different type of projects as well as the learnings from various disciplines are rewarding. One of my biggest achievements is being involved and leading the processing team in designing, implementing and commissioning a new R110m plant in a brown field environment. The plant is a rhodium and iridium separation plant, using ion exchange. Another big achievement was to be the first in the world to produce a pure platinum powder for Additive Manufacturing as well as being part of the team who printed prototypes with the powder.
