Hi there, I'm Caitlin a user experience and user interface designer. I have a bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as having completed my one year out at an architectural firm where I worked on a 3 storey car dealership. (2020) Since then I shifted careers, gaining a certificate in User Experience Design. I joined Archdaily as part time contributing editor, from which I gained recognition as one of the best in the team. (ArchDaily.com is the worlds most visited architecture website with over 3.5 million followers on instagram). I was in this role for almost 3 years. During that time I worked for a FoodTech start-up where I assisted with UX design & research, UI design, social media management and content strategy, mailing designs, growth operations, training, and presentations to stakeholders and investors. I also chose to learn more code to have an understanding of its structure, as well as mathematical modelling where I am looking more into data modelling specifically from the UX research and the ways data can be interpreted. I currently hold a full-time role at a top software consulting company in UX & UI design, and am open to adhoc work which I can perform on the weekends or after hours (this is allowed in my company). If my skills suit your needs, lets get in touch.
