Having worked for 37 years in the upstream E&P industry in various capacities as an Operator, Drilling Contractor, Service Company, and Consultant has provided me with a balanced background in Q/HSE, Operations, Engineering, Engineering Management, and Fiscal Management. My experience consists of Contract Management, EPC, Project Management, and Drilling Operations Management. Other areas of experience include; onshore and offshore oil & gas exploration and development wells, deep water & ultra-deep water drilling, completion and testing operations, drilling engineering, offshore and onshore rig design and construction, risk assessment, commissioning & testing of drilling related equipment, preparing and presenting operational reviews, mechanical equipment integration, QA & QC, procurement, planning, and logistics. Well Type Experience; Vertical, Directional - Dual Lateral, Horizontal, Extended Reach, Under Balance - (Mud Cap Drilling), and HPHT wells. Prepared and presented numerous DWOP exercises, drilling performance workshops, service quality and financial performance reviews, technical training seminars and co-authored 6 SPE / industry related papers. Adept at systematically analysing facts and developing alternative courses of action in order to decrease NPT and increase productivity / profitability. I am someone who strives for continuous improvement and place the highest degree of importance on safety, and quality of services.
