I am a pharmacist with a BPharm degree obtained after graduating at the end of 2012, and I have been working in pharmacies since 2011. I have experience working in retail as a post-basic assistant while studying to be a pharmacist and I also have experience working in hospital and community health care facilities as a qualified pharmacist. I recently completed a certificate in Primary Care Drug Therapy for pharmacists from North-West University and use this information to critically analyse prescriptions in comparison to their medical history. This qualification also allows me to diagnose primary health conditions and prescribe medication in a clinic setting regarding minor ailments, immunisations, family planning and wellness screening services. I am a self-motivated and reliable worker with an excellent work ethic and drive to succeed. I am hard working and have an enthusiastic approach to all aspects of my work and the working environment I find myself in. I work well alone but also enjoy working in a team. I enjoy taking on new challenges and try my best to use innovative thinking when working on tasks. I am often successful in multi-tasking when working toward meeting deadlines and have experience working on computer software such as Microsoft office (excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook) with good verbal and written skills.
