I am a 62-year-old professional with extensive knowledge in the Secretarial / Administrative field, having worked for De Beers Consolidated Mines for the past 31+ years. My contract came to an end on 31 July 2020, due to the Company policy that employees should retire at the age of 60. However, I am not ready to retire just yet. I have a youthful spirit and I believe that I still have a lot to offer based on my experience. It would therefore be a pleasure to meet with you and discuss my professional goals for the next couple of years. I am an honest, reliable and trustworthy person who is hardworking with strong values and a good work ethic. I am organised, meticulous, forward thinking and I can communicate at all levels. Confidentiality is one of my very strong points. I have good organisational and time management skills, am willing to work long hours and travel should it be required, but I also know how to have fun – which is necessary in a stressful environment.
