I am Tedeso Twala, and I have completed my Radio Production course at the National Electronic Media Institution of South Africa (NEMISA). I am interested in applying for the Content Producer post. The Radio Production course has sharpened my skills in the production side of radio. I learned a lot about: Research, planning, generating an idea, writing news script/bulletin, producing promos as well as jingles and writing other scripts for radio programs. Being employed at Primedia as a Junior Podcast Producer was such a great experience as I got to sharpen my skills in recording audio, cutting audio, and compiling podcast. I am currently working as a Freelance Content Producer at Primedia. I have so far produce and call screen for the following shows: The Aubrey Masango Show; The Weekend Breakfast; Drive with John Perlman; Afternoons with Relebogile; The Clement Manyathela Show as well as The Midday Report with Mandy Wiener my job description included that I prepare Show content, do research, guest booking, compiling script as well as call screening. I also had an opportunity to write articles for the online platform and the source for the articles would be radio show topics for the day. Before going back to media school, I was in the finance sector for most of my career years. I worked as: Debt Collector; Debtors Clerk; Financial Advisor and I have a two years’ experience as a Team Leader for Ekurhuleni Department of Health. I am reliable, honest, creative and I love writing and I also find joy in content creation, research, and I also fulfilment in the process of generating an idea and working on it until it becomes a consumable finished product E.G radio adverts, public service announcement and entertainment features etc. I am also good at working with numbers, multitasking, planning and organizing, and I also have good communication skills (written and verbal).
